We combined our love for both by designing these amiibo mini prints! Each piece is printed on high quality archival cotton cardstock. All ACNH x Ghibli amiibos are included in this pack: Porco, Mononoke, Jiji, No Face, Totoro, Calcifer. THE STORY Adventure Time is a great show because it manages to have silly episodes that somehow still contribute to the seriousness of an overarching plot. However, this episode (“The Eyes”, S2 E2) is 100% pure silly with no deeper, greater meaning. There is something so innocent and playful about this episode’s humor that is so striking. THE STORY Zuko has to have one of the best character arcs of all time. He and Aang have a lot in common. They both have traumas from their youth that compel them make amends by proving their worth. They both believe that taking down their one opponent will accomplish it all for them. And they also believe that their task is a burden for them to bear alone, not a single other person in the world could possibly do the job for them. And yet, Zuko’s tale is not just a carbon copy of Aang’s. Zuko may be experiencing a lot of the same troubles as Aang but his way of processing, questioning and growth is what makes him stand out. Kyoshi warriors weren’t an official part of the Avatar squad, but Suki and her friends often stood up for Aang and were ready to protect. THE STORY We love Ponyo for it’s adorable simplicity as much as we love Princess Mononoke for all its complexity. This is a film with battles being fought with conviction on all fronts. Everyone has done some bad but, in their own way, they’ve also done some good (except Yakul, we can all agree Yakul is perfect). This film shows us to look at the issues of the world beyond a white and black spectrum. People are not purely good or purely bad. A lot can be gained from having an open-mind and trying to see the good and bad in people. And so much can be lost when you close your mind to the possibilities.
